In this video, we walk through a simple optimization that will speed up how quickly the web server can serve files to your visitor.
The optimization can make a big difference if you site has a lot of files or heavy peak load traffic, as the Nginx web server is more efficient at serving these types of files vs Apache web server.
Note that this optimization may not be compatible if you have a Woocommerce site or Membership site that is protecting particular types of content. You’ll see in the video how we excluded .zip files for the example site because it’s a membership site that needs to protect these files.
